2. About Movere
Movere is a payment orchestration and infrastructure platform that enables merchants, platforms and partners to connect with payment service providers, financial institutions and payment methods through a unified technology layer.
Movere provides payment technology, infrastructure and orchestration capabilities. Unless expressly stated in an applicable written agreement, Movere does not act as a bank, card issuer, acquiring institution, electronic money institution or deposit-taking institution, and does not itself provide regulated payment services where regulatory authorisation is required. Regulated activities, including acquiring, settlement, issuing or other regulated payment services, are performed by appropriately authorised third-party payment or financial service providers, where applicable.
3. Using Our Website
You may use the Movere website for lawful business and informational purposes. You must not use the website in a way that is unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, or that could compromise the security, availability or operation of the website or Movere systems.
In particular, you must not:
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, platform, systems, networks or data;
- introduce viruses, malware or other harmful technology;
- interfere with or disrupt the operation or security of the website;
- use automated tools to scrape, extract, reproduce or systematically collect website content without our permission, except where permitted by law; or
- use Movere content, branding or intellectual property in a misleading or unauthorised manner.
4. Website Availability and Changes
We aim to keep our website available and up to date, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free. We may update, suspend, restrict or withdraw any part of the website where reasonably necessary for business, security, maintenance or operational reasons.
We may also update these Terms from time to time. The version published on the Movere website will be the current version and will show its effective date.
5. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, Movere or its licensors own the intellectual property rights in the website and its content, including text, graphics, designs, software, trademarks, logos, product names and other materials.
You may view, download or print reasonable extracts of website content for legitimate personal or internal business purposes. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, commercially exploit or create derivative works from Movere content without our prior written permission, except where permitted by law.
6. Website Information and No Advice
Content on the Movere website is provided for general information only. It does not constitute legal, financial, regulatory, investment or other professional advice and should not be relied upon as such.
We take reasonable steps to keep website information accurate and current, but product descriptions, capabilities, market coverage, payment methods, integrations and other information may change as our services develop. Any binding service, pricing, availability or performance commitment will be set out in the relevant written agreement with Movere.
7. Payment Services and Third-Party Providers
Movere connects merchants and platforms with third-party payment and financial service providers. References on our website to payment methods, markets, providers or capabilities do not guarantee that a particular service is available to every customer or in every jurisdiction.
Where regulated services such as acquiring, settlement, issuing or other payment activities are provided by third parties, those services are subject to the relevant provider's onboarding, KYC/KYB, risk, compliance and approval requirements, contractual terms and applicable laws. Movere may facilitate the technical connection, onboarding process or exchange of information with such providers, but this does not mean that Movere itself is providing the underlying regulated service.
8. Security
Movere operates a secure payment technology and orchestration platform designed with appropriate technical and organisational controls to protect systems and data. The relevant payment technology environment is designed to support applicable PCI DSS requirements, with formal validation progressing as the platform scales. Movere does not store raw card numbers (PANs). Users must not attempt to bypass, test or interfere with security controls without our prior written authorisation.
While we take reasonable measures to protect our website and technology, no internet-based service can be guaranteed to be completely secure or continuously available.
9. Third-Party Links and Services
Our website may contain links to, or integrations with, third-party websites and services. These are provided for convenience and information only. Movere does not control and is not responsible for the availability, content, security, privacy practices or terms of third-party websites or services.
10. Privacy and Cookies
Our processing of personal data is explained in the Movere Privacy Policy, and our use of cookies and similar technologies is explained in the Movere Cookie Policy. Those policies should be read alongside these Terms. Where consent is required for non-essential cookies or similar technologies, use of the website does not by itself constitute consent; your choices will be managed through the cookie preference controls made available on the website.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Movere excludes liability for loss or damage arising from use of, inability to use, or reliance on general information provided through the website. Where you use the website for business purposes, this includes indirect or consequential loss and loss of profits, business, revenue, opportunity, goodwill or anticipated savings.
Different limitations and responsibilities may apply to Movere products and services and will be set out in the relevant commercial agreement. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
12. Suspension or Termination of Access
We may restrict, suspend or terminate access to the website where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached, where access creates a security or operational risk, or where required by law.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising in connection with these Terms or use of the Movere website will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
